After a brief brush with the social sciences I earned my PhD in organic chemistry, followed by a post-doc at Brookhaven National Laboratory. I've worked as a pharmaceutical chemist, acquisitions editor, newsletter editor, medical copywriter, continuing medical education specialist, and trade magazine writer. I've published a best-selling book on vitamins and more than 1,000 articles in leading trade magazines.
